Details
An architectural perennial with knee-high bright-pink flowers in early summer making a vase-shape of shiny, cut-green leaves. Geranium palmatum survived in the last few winters down to -13 C whereas the similar Geranium maderense did not. It is short-lived but it obligingly self-sows around the place nicely. Lovely with Stipa tenuissima.
