"Little Carlow is my favourite aster. There is an almost ultraviolet quality to the pale blue daisies. I like it best when generously repeated through a border, positioned so it catches the evening sun with backlit grasses like miscanthus. Lisa cuts bundles of it for late-autumn vases."

Details

Late summer and autumn-flowering perennial with masses of small pale-blue daisies held on wiry stems. It looks good right into winter and bees and butterflies love it. Unlike many asters this variety doesn't succumb to powdery mildew.
