Toby Buckland

Delivery

Delivery costs £10 for up to 20kg. The cost of delivery is the same whether you buy one small pot or pack your box with lots of plants, so it makes economic sense to fill up your box! One large box can accommodate up to 10 2-litre pots and we may be able to squeeze in a few bare-roots or sundries too.

We deliver to UK mainland, including England, Wales and parts of Scotland. Sorry, we do not currently deliver to the Scottish Highlands and Islands (postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE), Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly (postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25) the Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland. We do not deliver overseas.

Parcels need to be signed for, so if you are planning to be away, please let us know so we can arrange to deliver when you are back. If there is no-one to sign for your parcel, the courier will try to deliver the next day or you can arrange to collect from a local Parcelforce Worldwide depot. Because it is better to limit the time the plants spend boxed up, if you can't be in to receive your order you may wish to leave a note for the courier and have your parcel signed for by a neighbour.

We aim to deliver your purchase between 7-10 days of taking your order with the exception of bare-root plants which are sent out at the best time for planting between November and March. On placing your order, you will get a confirmation email from us. You will know when your package has been shipped because you will receive another email from Parcelforce. Plants are sent out on next-day delivery so they have the shortest possible time in transit. You can track your order by going to www.parcelforce.com and typing your tracking number into 'Tracking'.

Because we want your plants to arrive in the best possible condition, we take great care with wrapping and packaging. All plants are packaged in strong double-wall cardboard, while bare-root plants are wrapped up to keep them moist in transit. Nonetheless, it's essential to get them out into the light as soon as your order arrives and give them a drink of water if they are dry. Bare-roots should either be planted or potted up immediately, or packed in a tray of moist compost. Don't plant if ground is frozen or waterlogged and see Toby's planting advice and videos online.

Returns and Refunds

We take a lot of care, selecting only the best top-quality plants to send out and also with packaging, however if there is a problem with your order we will happily replace free of charge or refund the cost of your order. Please contact us on 01626 891133 or info@tobybuckland.com, quoting your order number within 7 days of receiving your order.

If plants have been damaged in transit, please do not return the items and do not throw away the packaging. Please contact us immediately so we can organise a replacement and sort it out with the courier. As we are sure you are aware as gardeners, plants go various stages through the growing season and if you order a potted perennial plant which dies down in winter, it will arrive as a died-down plant with a pot full of promising roots, but not alot on-top to show for itself until the spring.
