Toby Says

Of all the miscanthus, this has the lushest, most tropical look to the flowers with a gracefulness that suits. Ideal specimen grass for mid-to-back of a border or on as a living piece of architecture.

Miscanthus nepalensis

More Views

A must for jungle-lovers, Miscanthus nepalensis has wide leaves and arching wands of seedheads, like golden fishing rods. Tall and clump-forming, good with canna lilies and phormium or planted singly in a gravel garden. Good front garden grass due to its size and stature. Children love the way the silky flower tassels turn into fluffy white tickle-sticks in winter.
